It all started with a mission

Nathan Sheets got the nickname "Nature Nate" in college, because he was a nature lover and outdoorsman.

After graduating from college and owning his own ad agency, Nathan began serving in ministry. He journeyed on 100+ mission trips all over the world with the goal of helping others.

In 2010, Nathan's full-time job changed, but his heart never did. Nathan still had a desire to help others, but now instead of working in missions, he realized he could help even more people through honey. And life has never been sweeter. As Nate likes to say, “The Lord has blessed us so we can be a blessing to others.”

1972
North Dallas Honey is founded by Fred Richardson.
1996
Nathan buys his first beehive as a post honeymoon hobby.
1997
Nathan bought North Dallas Honey, filling honey in his garage.
2012
Nathan and seven employees grew out of his home office, and Nature Nate’s brand was born.
2013
Our first manufacturing plant was built, giving us even greater capabilities to raise industry standards for quality raw and unfiltered honey.
2019
Nature Nate's expands to Australia with 100% pure, raw & unfiltered honey from Australian bees.

We ensure 100% purity through rigorous testing for antibiotics, pesticides, herbicides and rice or corn syrup adulteration. All testing is done through third-party labs and in our in-house lab to ensure quality and consistency every time.
