Ingredients

For the Meatloaf:

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 pound hot Italian sausage
  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

For the Topping:

  • 1 14.5 ounce can fire roasted tomatoes
  • 1 large jalapeño pepper
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Nature Nate’s Raw & Unfiltered Honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

For meatloaf: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir together meatloaf ingredients until evenly combined. Shape into 3 small loaves (in 3x5x2-inch pans). Set aside. In a small saucepan, combine topping ingredients. Stir over medium-low heat for about 30 minutes, until sauce is reduced and thickened. Spoon evenly on top of the three loaves. Bake for about 40 minutes. Can slice when cooled.

For sliders: Slice meatloaves into 2-inch thick slices. Serve on slider buns with mayonnaise, dill pickles and lettuce.
