Homemade Fruit Snacks

Homemade fruit snacks are easy to make and a fun way to sneak fruit into your kids' diets. Give this recipe a try and let the little ones help!

Yield 16 cubes
Prep Time 20 minutes
Total Time 60 minutes

Ingredients
  • 4 cups of your favourite fruit juice
  • 8-10 packets of Nature Nate’s Honey*
  • 4 1-ounce packets unflavoured gelatin
  • Fresh fruit of choice
  • 1/3 cup Honey Syrup


Directions

Dissolve gelatin in 1 cup of cold juice.

Stir in the honey or honey syrup.

Allow children to squeeze the honey into the mixture.

Meanwhile, bring the remaining 3 cups of juice to a boil.

Stir it into the gelatin mixture until very well combined (no lumps!).

Pour into a 9×13-inch pan.

Place favourite fruits (berries are best) generously over all.

Refrigerate until well set.

Cut into cubes.

Allow kids to eat these with their hands and dip them in the honey syrup.

It feels cold and jiggly!

*can substitute with 1/3 cup honey syrup.
