Ingredients
- 2 cups 2% low fat milk
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 2 heaping Tbsp high-quality cocoa powder
- 2 heaping Tbsp Nature Nate’s pure honey
- 1 tsp high-quality vanilla extract
Directions
In a sauce pan set to medium low heat, combine all the ingredients, and whisk until the cocoa powder and honey is dissolved and incorporated. Be careful not to let the milk boil, but come to a slow, low simmer before turning off and removing from heat. Strain through a fine mesh sieve. Place in a glass container, and allow to cool before refrigerating. (Or if you’re looking for hot chocolate, serve warm.)
