Honey Facts:

Nature Nate’s Nutrition Facts

Nature Nate’s Raw and Unfiltered Honey contains only one ingredient: honey! It’s pure, unadulterated honey just as the bees made it. Have you ever wondered what’s inside that delicious, pure honey? We’ve got some crystal-clear nutritional facts for you:

Nutrients

The Each tablespoon, or 21 grams, of Nature Nate’s honey contains 70 calories, 18 grams of carbohydrates and 15 grams of sugar. Within that tablespoon of Nature Nate’s honey, there is no fat, fibre, sodium or protein. Our honey is also certified Gluten Free as well as OU Kosher certified. Because our honey is raw and unfiltered, these contents are 100% natural.

Raw, Not Pasteurized

Raw honey simply means that the honey has not been overheated (pasteurised) or processed. Pasteurizing honey means heating the honey at very high temperatures so that it can more easily flow into bottles. The problem: this process kills the vitamins, enzymes, and the nutritional perks found in natural honey

Filtered vs. Unfiltered

Filtering honey is a process that removes any particles floating around in your honey, including pollen. This isn’t always a good thing because pollen allows you to trace the batch of honey back to its original flower source and know exactly where it came from, ensuring that the honey is completely real. No phony syrups here!

Testing

Nature Nate’s honey is always raw and unfiltered. All of our honey undergoes rigorous testing to make sure it’s free of commonly used pesticides, herbicides and antibiotics. We also test for lead, acidity, gluten and pollen. After each batch of honey passes our tests, we gently strain the honey to remove any unwanted bee parts.

Our honey is simply honey; we just add the label!
