Ingredients
- 4 1-ounce squares unsweetened chocolate
- 3/4 cup butter
- 3/4 cup Nature Nate’s Raw & Unfiltered Honey
- 2/3 cup oat flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup raw cacao nibs
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, or chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking dish. Melt butter and chocolate together over low heat in a medium saucepan. Stir often. Remove from heat. Beat in honey and eggs. When well combined, add flour, salt and cacao nibs. Add walnuts or chocolate chips if desired. Spoon into baking dish and bake for 25-27 minutes. When slightly cool, gently press the top of the brownies with the heel of your hands, until slightly compressed. This will make the brownies dense and easier to cut. Cool and cut into squares. Makes 16 brownies.
Note: These are gluten-free and full of fibre. The cacao nibs add a great crunch!
