This black and blue honey chia bowl is perfect for a hot day! It has the benefits of a bowl of oatmeal (filling and nourishing), but there isn’t any cooking. Just stirring. Use any in-season berries as a topping. Try raspberry and strawberry honey syrup too. Mix it up!

- 1/2 cup black chia seeds
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 1/2 cup flaxseed meal
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup Nature Nate’s Blueberry Honey Syrup
- 1 cup fresh blueberries and blackberries
- 1/4 cup toasted sliced almonds
Directions
Pour water over the chia seeds in a medium-sized bowl.
Cover and allow to set for about an hour, until seeds are softened and water is absorbed.
Stir in almond butter, flax, salt and blueberry honey syrup.
Spoon into bowls. top with berries, almonds and Blueberry Honey Syrup.
