Total Time 35 minutes

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 4 1-ounce squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 3/4 cup Nature Nate’s Raw & Unfiltered Honey
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2/3 cup oat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup raw cacao nibs
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts or semisweet chocolate chips, optional

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Coat an 8×8-inch baking dish with cooking spray and a dusting of flour.

Melt butter and chocolate in a medium saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat.

Stir in flour, eggs, salt and honey until well combined.

Add cocoa nibs (and nuts or semi-sweet chips, if using).

Bake for 25-27 minutes.

Cool slightly, and press the entire surface of the brownies with the heel of your hand.

This will make them more dense.

Cut into 16 squares.

To Make Heart-Shaped Brownies:

Pour brownie batter into an 8-cavity silicone heart-shaped cupcake mold, like this one >>. Bake for 17-20 minutes, or just until the center of the brownies is set. Cool before removing, repeat with remaining batter. If desired, decorate cooled brownies with decorators icing. Makes 16 heart-shaped brownies.
